Produced by Rock Oyster Media for broadcast on ITV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, STV and ITVX, Unwind with ITV represents what is believed to be a world first, offering viewers a new episode of mindfulness content 365 days a year.
PRE PRODUCTION PLANNING
The challenge was to help post produce over 400 episodes of television each year, in a cost effective, but technically robust way.
We worked closely with production, consulting on shooting methods and formats. We went on to build a bespoke system and workflow for the efficient processing of the large amounts of weekly data of rushes and final programme masters.
PRODUCTION
We worked with Rock Oyster and ITV Channel Operations to develop the best process for delivery. In order to keep on track with the nightly TX we would be creating up to 25 hours of content each week, often with tight deadlines to hit. The system had to run smoothly, allowing attention to focus on the production of the shows.
POST PRODUCTION
As this was a unique commission with its own unique workflow Twofour Post Production provided training, guidance and engineering support throughout the process.
Services included ingest, nearline storage, Offline and Online Avid editing equipment, Mastering, AQC/PSE and eyeballing. LTO Archival of rushes and master content.
Our Digital Media Specialist ran final spot checks on each episode, prior to channel delivery, to ensure a technically sound master file was delivered on time and to spec.
