Loaded In Paradise

This 15 part series following 5 pairs, racing across Athens as they track each other down in an attempt to capture the £50,000 Gold Card was the first Factual show to premiere on ITVX.

PRE PRODUCTION PLANNING

Twofour Post provided technical guidance and support to the Production team during the long development period and right through to the detailed planning of the shoot.
We were able to provide solutions and advice on all areas from location logging, camera choice and data management.

PRODUCTION

With such a complex shoot that, was constantly on the move across a number of Greek islands, we knew we needed an agile and quick wrangling solution. Working with production to find a suitable team, and collaborating on the process to get the rushes securely backed up and delivered to the UK in a timely manner.

We kept close contact with production throughout the shoot, to ensure the organising of the rushes back in the UK tallied with the complex shoot schedule. Our team worked alongside the editorial to ensure no great moments were lost in paradise.

POST PRODUCTION

As usual, our Edit Assistant team were instrumental in prepping all of the rushes, to ensure no edit was wasting time trying to find anything. All video and audio was sync’d up and subbed into scenes. GVs were pulled and organised, and first pass cuts were done. We had a dedicated team working on this, so we could offer the editors support throughout the process.

And for 15 episodes, of a brand new format, with delivery planned around the launch of ITVX, we had over 25 Avid systems dedicated to the production at any one time. Our Post Producing and Engineering teams were instrumental in running a busy offline schedule, based across our Plymouth and London facilities, as well as multiple remote editors and producers.
